Frequently asked questions
What materials are your toys made from?
Ethical and safe silicone + dyes!
The silicone I use comes from the USA and is guaranteed "Skin Safe". They are Ecoflex and Dragon Skin silicones from the Smooth-On brand. For colorants, I generally use mica powder. Here's a list of the colorants I may use and their characteristics:
- Mica powders: our mica powders are cosmetic-grade, contain no nanoparticles and comply with European regulations. There are many ethical issues surrounding mica powders, including the exploitation of children, animals and people, and I would never participate in encouraging such practices. The mica powders I use come mainly from Europe and some from the United States. They are ethically guaranteed with zero tolerance for the exploitation of children, animals or people, and have not been tested on animals.
- Mica glitter: for certain colors, I also add mica-based glitter, which is very soft and the only healthy glitter to use in toys (plastic-based glitter is "hard" and can pierce silicone to get out!). They're also ethical, just like our mica powders.
- Silc Pig from Smooth-On: I may use Silc Pig from the Smooth-On brand to obtain "matte" colorations. Silc pig is guaranteed skin-safe and is not tested on animals.
- Glow Worm by Smooth-On: To make GITD (Glow in the Dark) toys, I add Glow Worm powder by Smooth-On. This powder is made in a laboratory and is not tested on animals.
What is a "FLOP"?
Some toys in the inventory may be marked "FLOP": these are toys with minor flaws. As the toys are handmade, some fails can happen but it would be a shame to have to throw them away! These toys are therefore discounted.
Examples of minor defects:
- Seam line more visible than normal
- Bubbles formed at the base of the toy (created small holes)
- Shorter base
FLOPs are just as body safe as the other toys!
How do I clean and care for my toy?
1. It's important to wash your toy after each use simply with a mild soap or a special silicone-free soap for sex toys.
2. In the event of intimate dryness, anal use, stroker use or pure pleasure, I strongly advise you to use lubricant! The latter must not contain silicone: a water-based lubricant is the perfect choice.
3. Our toys are 100% silicone, so it's possible to sterilize them: bring water to the boil, then immerse your toys in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes (pro tip: you can also sterilize glass or metal toys this way).
4. Keep your toys out of the reach of children and pets. Keep them away from sharp objects too!
What is a suction cup used for?
It's to have fun! It will allow you to hold your toy on any smooth surface and thus give free rein to your imagination (against a wall, on the floor, in your shower / bathtub, on a closet door?? (be careful not to break the door tho))
Are your toys safe for anal use?
Each toy has a wider base allowing it not to get lost inside, however the base may be flexible due to the hole made by the suction cup so better be careful if you are well trained!
Can I customize the shape or design of my toy?
No! The current toys are made from molds made upstream, the process of making the molds being quite long and complex I would not have time to dedicate myself to a new shape (see the manufacturing section for the whole process!).
Where is manufactured my toy?
In France! Particularly in the French Alpes :)
Is the packaging discreet?
No mention of "HumpToy" or any mention indicating the sexual nature of the product will appears on the package. For shipments outside France, the contents of the package may be requested. It will be declared as "silicone product" or "silicone sculpture".
Will I have to pay taxes or customs fees?
If you’re ordering from within the EU, there won’t be any additional fees. Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, and these vary depending on the country, so we recommend checking your local import regulations if you’re unsure.
PS: For customers in the USA, deliveries are sent with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), which means you won’t have to pay any customs fees or taxes, it’s already taken care of!
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
No, for obvious reasons of hygiene we do not accept returns!
For personalized orders, the coloring process of toys having a part of randomness, HumpToy will not be responsible if the design of the final product does not correspond exactly to your expectations, unless obvious error on our part such as the use of a purple color instead of blue or a fade pouring instead of a marble one. In this case, we will be happy to remake your toy or make a refund. If it's the case, please fill out the contact form!
How long will it take to receive my order?
The delivery time for your order is about 3 days for France, 5 days for Europe and about 8 days for international shipments. If you order a personalized toy, you will have to take into account the manufacturing time which can vary from 3 to 14 days depending on the number of orders. Additional delays may occur during certain periods due to our suppliers' delays or if we are on vacations (this will be indicated on the social networks!). I'm the only one managing HumpToy (from the manufacturing, to the website and social networks management, to the shipping) so please be indulgent :)
Who are we and why did we create HumpToy?
Well… it’s actually just me! I’m Kenza Gueyraud, the one behind HumpToy, and I take care of everything here, from designing to creating to shipping your toys with love. I have a master’s degree in analytical chemistry, and while I was looking for a job, I used that time to throw myself into something that quickly became a real passion: making sex toys!
I actually started HumpToy for myself. I was looking for a nice suction-cup dildo, but I quickly realized that most of what existed on the market was super penis-shaped and very realistic. I wanted something more abstract, more creative, something that still feels amazing but doesn’t have to look like genitals. On top of that, I wanted a clean composition, no weird or questionable materials, and something ethical because I’m vegan, and yes, even some toy dyes might not be vegan, which honestly shocked me!
So I started experimenting and the awesome feedbacks I received gave me the push I needed to share my hobby (and I mean… once I had the molds, why not use them again, right??). That’s how HumpToy was born, out of curiosity, creativity, and honestly just the need to fix a problem I personally had. And I know I’m not the only one, so I wanted people like me to finally have fun, abstract options too. Every toy is vegan, body-safe, customizable, and made with care, because everyone deserves a good toy that feels right, inside and out!
I’m a creator... can we collaborate?
